Need your help. I have uploaded pics into my Image area. Created a album. How do I post pics of my Boat in the for sale area of your board. I've got the urge for a P4 and need to sell mine first before I place order with Scott Brech. Any help will be appreciate. Pictures have already been uploaded in my image /Album that I created. Thanks, Tom Moore Birmingham,

When you go to make your post, in reply or a new topic, not a quick reply, there will be a button that looks like a mountain and the sun rising. That is the tab for image uploading and you will have the option of the URL, which is the location of your image found by using the right mouse button on a PC machine.

You should be able to get there then.

What are some your thoughts on Lowrance HDS sonars? I refrain from public post because of posters emotional allegiances to OEM products. That being said I currently use Humminbird 797 indash on my 2008 Sabre. I am working with Scott Brech on P4 order and am ironing out details. This will be my last boat for a VERY long time. That being said I respect your neutral stance because you build boats but what has been some of the responses from end users in-house or customers with Lowrnces HDS? I am thinking of switching over to Lowrance HDS7 for P4 now that structure scan is coming out. I don't use SI that much on my Birds but knowing Lowrances SS is coming I will at least have the option for future upgrade path. I have always like Lowrance's 2D sonar and GPS maps better. Any comments or impressions would be helpful with this consideration. Thanks, Tom Moore Birmingham, AL P.S. I will be at Airport Marine to show off my 2008 Sabre. I will cover Brech Marine Logo out of respect for Airport Marine. Want to help push the BassCat brand. Also, will show off I-Command gauges too. It's awesome!!!!!! Thanks, Tom Moore Birmingham, AL

    Tom,

We really appreciate the efforts that Bass Cat owners give to us without request. Thank You for volunteering to assist in the demo rides at Airport Marine.

The LCR topic is not hard for us. The Lowrance units are an improvement, and they look good, though they have a second revision of software now ongoing, for the second update and third version for operation reasons. We are still not satisfied with the dependability of Lowrance and while we really like aspects of the unit, our concern is dependability and a reliable graph, which it seems HumminBird has over Lowrance. Thus it is standard equipment on BCB Models. We also like the individuals at both companies, so this is not a bias for personality reasons.

The SI models are not necessary, and the non SI models work pretty well also. They do have a newer version of upgraded sensitivity for the Humminbird units to enhance their separation of targets, though not for a working purposes.

My Office direct Mail is Rick@BassCat.com if you have any questions that I can help you with, please don't publish it. I already receive more e-mail than I can handle in most days of non topic memos.

Thanks again for the help and you know how committed the Brechs are to their consumers as well.

    Have a Nice Day,

    Rick

Our best suggestion is for you to contact Service @ BassCat.com or call them at 870-481-5135. We think you will get more info. from a phone call by far. The message system is not used by in house staff in those positions. It is used by the Owners Board Administration and the memos are forwarded to the Service staff, then posted here often.

These get more required on the effort and we work back and forth, so you should go direct.

Give them a buzz and they will bed glad to assist.

We assume you have an '04 or later boat with a fiberglass seat pan. We don't know your year or model?

Though if it is a seat pan, you probably have some abrasion in between the seat pan and the boat that has gathered some fiberglass dust, and thus a squeak. You should be able to spray a little Silicone on
an extended tube nozzle into that area to silence it. If it is not loose.

If it is loose, then it should be tightened.

Most of these were mounted on a piece of weather stripping that was used to slince that area. We will verify that they are still using the stripping in production.

We hope this helps answer your questions and we would be more help if we have more information. We have almost 40 years of production to answer questions on and we have a hard time guessing sometimes.

Just label me a complete idiot concerning livewells - the last info explains the situation perfectly - both sides are closed with the open/empty in the middle.

Anyone have any ideas on getting my passenger side rear cleat tightened - it came about 4 inches off the deck when I tried to use it?

Your getting into a more technical aspect and we would defer to the service staff at Bass Cat proper for that. They are in that tournament this week and phone will probably not be answer till next week after today.

Fir time we have heard of a cleat issue? Those are installed on the deck prior to assembly and are accessible from the back side, though they would be better suited to handle that.

Give them a shout at 870-481-5135
